The trailer for "Red Dead Redemption 2" has finally arrived and it gave audiences a general feel of what they should expect from the game. The video is just a little bit over than a minute so details about the story or the characters are not yet given out too much.

The only clue so far is the poster showing a group of gang members. Some are saying the person on the far left is John Marston, protagonist of the first "Red Dead Redemption," and that the next installment will actually be a prequel to the story.

Now we know that the last game that Rockstar announced was back in 2013, with "Grand Theft Auto V." The company has been teasing fans for days about the game, showing and tweeting a picture of a simple logo. This was enough to make the fans excited and hyped for the game because the company hasn't been really talking about the development of the game so hopefully it lives up to the success of its predecessor.

Rockstar said: "Developed by the creators of 'Grand Theft Auto V' and 'Red Dead Redemption,' 'Red Dead Redemption 2' is an epic tale of life in America's unforgiving heartland,"

"The game's vast and atmospheric world will also provide the foundation for a brand new online multiplayer experience." Rockstar added.

The game was not announced whether it would come to the PC. So far, the official announced platforms for the game is the PlayStation 4 and the X-Box One, according to a post by Rockstar. Nintendo has just released its new console, the Nintendo Switch, but it is unclear whether it could handle the requirements of the game. However, the publisher for "Red Dead Redemption 2" said that they will be supporting the Nintendo Switch, according to the Express. This doesn't necessarily mean that the game will be a hundred percent release for the platform though.

Like with their previous game, "GTA V," they first released the game exclusively for the console platform. A year later, it was then released for the PC with much more improved graphics and some tweak for its gameplay. Maybe Rockstar will do the same for "RDR2."

Release date for "Red Dead Redemption 2" will be in the fall of 2017 and the trailer can be seen below.
