While "Fallout 4" fans are eager to see more DLC after "Nuka World," the uncertainties engulfing these hopes have been numerous. At the same time, the recent Steam listings have added fuel to the fire, igniting rumors that Bethesda may be cooking something.

The awakening of this report was triggered on Reddit when one member claimed that he had discovered a steamDB entry. Under the username VaultOfDaedalus, the said Redditor suspected that it was another "Fallout 4" DLC.

Even though Bethesda's Pete Hines has cleared the air, emphatically rejecting the idea, he still admits that the upcoming database update holds something in store for gamers. Here are some of the possible explanations to unravel this hazy development.

VR patch: As of now, many gamers are familiar with the fact that "Fallout 4" and "Doom" are going to receive a VR support. Hence, the DLC may turn out to be a patch to enable the game run on PC-based headsets.

The developer has, to some extent, promoted the VR Editions before as standalone items and this might still hold some truth in it. Still, it would not be a good idea to tell a gamer who bought their "Fallout 4" last year to re-purchase the whole package. Instead, a free patch would be the best option to go for.

Again, based on Bethesda's generosity on PC audiences in the past, a patch might be the best theory yet. According to iDigital Times, any player owning the game of the year edition of Skyrim can receive a special edition upgrade at no cost, further pointing out to a possibility that similar loyalty could apply to "Fallout 4" players.

Workshop Expansion: The release of "Fallout 4 DLC" consisted of three workshop content packs just before the launch of "Nuka World." So, another workshop might be in the works if this theory is correct. Creative players have been known to revel in add-ons since they are a good way of infusing an aging game with new exciting content.

All the same, Hines insists on his affirmation that "Nuka World" is the last addition to "Fallout 4."  So, there is much uncertainty about this theory.

A Game of the Year Edition: If the completion of "Fallout 4" DLC is real, then under the theory of convention, Bethesda is about to release a game of the year edition incorporating more content in one package. This would offer gamers a chance to enjoy every expansion, especially for "Fallout 4" newcomers.

Apart from these suppositions, the listing might mean more Modding assets for PS4 or even a big DLC. However, buying the latter theory has a lot of odds since as much as Bethesda can skirt the truth for secrecy, Hines has already cleared the air. So what is left of gamers is to wait and witness the truth for themselves.

"Fallout 4" is available for PC, Xbox One, and PS4. Here is a clip of another explanation for Bethesda's wierd steam listing:
