"Twilight" reboot may likely happen. It is definitely good news for Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart's fans who have been hoping to see the former sweethearts onscreen since the last "Twilight" movie in 2012.

If everyone is excited about the "Twilight" reboot, Pattinson's fiancée FKA Twigs is not happy about hearing Pattinson and Stewart's movie remake. There are speculations that the "Two Weeks" singer reportedly warned her beau to stay away from the "Café Society" star.

"It's a possibility," Lionsgate Motion Picture Group co-chairman Patrick Wachsberger told Screen Daily. "Not a certainty, but it's a possibility. It's about Stephenie [Meyer]. If she wants to tell a story related to those characters we're here for her."

While Wachsberger indicated a green light for the "Twilight" reboot project, the writer of the blockbuster saga, Stephanie Meyer already stated that she is so over with "Twilight." She emphasized that she would only write about it if the characters Edward Cullen (Pattinson), Bella Swan Cullen (Stewart) and Jacob Black (Taylor Lautner) will die.

In an interview with Variety, Meyer said that she is not interested to continue the story of Edward and Bella. However, she reiterated that if she will be given a choice, she will focus on the storyline with the setting in the Middle Earth.

In 2015, Stewart expressed her interest to the possible "Twilight" reboot if it will be offered to her. She was fascinated, and assured that she will no longer be emotionally attached to it. By saying it, it seems that she is giving Twigs a good word not to worry if Pattinson/ Stewart reunion will happen.

If Stewart was fascinated to do the remake of the movie with Pattinson in the 2015 interview, in 2016, she candidly said that maybe she will not do it this time. With the British actor, he has no problems coming back to reprise his role as Edward.

Meanwhile, the rumors between Pattinson and Stewart have not yet faded since they parted ways onscreens and in real life. They have earned a good number of fan base, who have been following them for a long time, despite that they have their own separate lives.

Whether "Twilight" reboot will happen or not, the former couple's fans just have to wait for further announcement either from Lionsgate or Meyer.  Check out for Pattinson's interview about the possible remake:
