With only two episodes left before "Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo" ends, talks about the possible sequel are bound to come out. Latest spoiler suggests 4th Prince Wang So (Lee Joon-Gi) and Hae Soo's (IU) love story is far from over.

Talks about the possible "Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo" Season 2 started after some viewers noticed a lot is happening very late in the SBS drama. With this, many believed that it could be a set-up for a possible sequel.

Given that both the SBS show and its Chinese counterpart have an identical plot, it is likely that their endings are comparable as well. It can be recalled Hunan's "Scarlet Heart" (2011) ended with the death of Ma Er'tai Ruoxi and Yinzhen.

Ruoxi's soul came back to her incarnation in the 21st century. While struggling to get over the trauma of her experiences, she encountered a man who greatly resembled Yinzhen. It ended with Zhang Xiao tearfully watching the man, who is perhaps the present-day incarnation of Yinzhen, leaves.

If the SBS drama follows the 2011 Chinese drama, fans will most likely see Hae Soo and Wang Soo's love story continues in the potential second season. Unlike its predecessor, the possible "Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo" Season 2 will not involve time traveling and will be set in the 21st century.

While nothing is impossible, it is important to note that "Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo" Season 2 is not confirmed yet. Thus, the aforementioned speculations must be taken with a pinch of salt.

Meanwhile, Lee Joon-Gi will host a meet-and-greet event for the SBS drama on Nov. 01 at the Lotte World Tower Mall's Superplex G theater, Drama Fever reported. Dubbed "My Love Lee Joon-Gi," the event will allow fans to watch the show's finale episode with the Hallyu star.

"We hope it will be a meaningful and enjoyable experience for fans of 'Scarlet Heart: Ryeo' and Lee Joon-gi," local newsoutlet OSEN quoted Namoo Actors' representative as saying, as cited by The Kpop Herald. "We also encourage fans to take lots of photos and videos. There will be little events and segments prepared by Lee Joon-gi so we urge fans to take an interest."
