This week, "Man on the Moon: The End of Day" artist Kid Cudi tweeted his gratitude to his fans for their support. He announced he will perform at ComplexCon on Nov. 5. He also had something for Drake.

Cudi has been in rehab due to depression, and Drake dissed him in a new single, "Two Birds, One Stone." The song includes the line "You were the man on the moon, now you go through your phases."

Things have been unpleasant between Cudi and Drake and it started when the former went on a social media rant about rappers in September. He tweeted that there are those who do not write their own material, and singled out Drake and Kenya West.

West responded but clarified he and Cudi are fine. He also paid tribute to Cudi during his show at Saint Pablo this week. However, he is involved in the production and cutting lyrics of Drake's "Two Birds, One Stone," MTV News reported.

The said track is part of the Canadian rapper's forthcoming playlist project, "More Life." It was among the four tracks released on Apple Music on Oct. 23, his first new material since his last album, "Views." Out of the four tracks he released, "Two Birds, One Stone" has drawn attention for the wrong reasons.

Drake dissing Cudi's situation is viewed by many as a bad taste and a big disrespect of mental illness. People expressed their disappointment on social media.

Many songs of black male rappers contain the mental health topic. West has songs about being depressed following his mother's death while Kendrick Lamar mentioned about struggling with suicidal thoughts.

As hip-hop is competitive, some see Drake's move as not as bad as he only tries to have his work get the edge, according to The Huffington Post. However, it is difficult to defend him considering Cudi's vulnerability in his battle with the health issue is real and ongoing.

Cudi received an overwhelming support when he announced earlier this month that he is going into rehab for severe depression and anxiety. His admission sparked a trending #YouGoodMan hashtag on social media about mental illness among black men.
