It is official. Miss A's Bae Suzy and IU will reunite for cameo roles in the upcoming noir-action film titled "Real" starring Kim Soo Hyun.

The good news came to light when a source claimed both Suzy and IU were on the filming set for the entire day, The Kpop Herald reported. However, the source did not reveal which parts the two took and to what extent they would appear in the noir action film.

Nonetheless, both Suzy and IU appearances were reportedly facilitated in part by Kim, who previously worked with them in 2011 KBS2 drama series "Dream High." More details about their respective roles will be revealed soon.

Directed by Lee Jung-Sub, "Real" follows an ambitious and merciless bounty hunter, Jang Tae-Young (Kim), who has his eyes set on constructing a casino hotel to control the city. However, things start to get out of his hand when a brilliant reporter, No Yeom (Lee Geung-Young), suddenly shows up.

"The long process of filming has been a challenge since it was a new experience for me," Kim said in a statement obtained by Digital Chosun Inc. "I tried my best to stay focused and immersed in my role. I had to shoot scenes underwater and used green screens. The intense action scenes were really challenging for me, but I enjoyed them."

Apart from the aforementioned actors, the film also stars Lee Sung-Min as Dr. Choi Jin-Ki, Sung Dong-Il as Jo Won-Geun, Rich Ting as Ryu Gil-Soo, Michael Kaufman as the Bloody Russian and Han Ji-Eun. Former f(x) member Sulli has also been cast to play a rehabilitation therapist named Song Yoo-Hwa.

The movie, which is slated to hit theaters in 2017, will be Kim's big screen come back in three years. With the exception of a special appearance in 2014's "Miss Granny," Kim's last major film role was that of a North Korean top agent, Lieutenant Won Ryu-Hwan, in 2013's "Secretly, Greatly."
