Avid "Moonlight Drawn by Clouds" fans will soon get the chance to meet one of the KBS series' lead stars. Park Bo Gum is set to embark on an Asian fan meeting tour to meet his loyal followers.

The South Korean celebrity Park will soon kick-off his 2016 fan meeting tour that will have him travel to several Asian countries in the coming weeks. The "Moonlight Drawn by Clouds" star's agency Blossom Entertainment told local reporters on Nov. 3, Thursday, that the actor will visit eight countries across Asia, Yonhap News reported.

Park will jumpstart his upcoming tour with a fan meeting to be held in Malaysia. The "Reply 1988" star will then visit other Asian countries such as Japan, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Thailand, China, Taiwan and Singapore. The actor's 2016 fan meeting tour is expected to end with a special event to be held in Park's home country South Korea before the end of December.

Fans can look forward to seeing Park interact with his loyal followers in various programs during the said events. Blossom Entertainment is set to unveil more details about the actor's upcoming 2016 Asia fan meeting tour through the agency's social networking services (SNS).

"Moonlight Drawn by Clouds" became one of the year's popular historical drama series. The KBS drama enjoyed strong ratings during its 20-episode run. Released on Aug. 22, the drama debuted with a viewership share of more than 8 percent before rising to double-digit TV ratings that even exceeded the 22 percent mark.

Park played the crown prince Yeong in the said KBS historical series, who fell in love with a young girl pretending to be an eunuch named Ra On. Portrayed by Kim Yoo Jung, Ra On's secret past as the daughter of a traitor also served as one of the drama's storyline conflicts.

In other news, Park and Kim will both attend the 2016 Asia Artist Awards. An announcement made by the event's organizing committee obtained by Star News confirmed the two Korean celebrities' upcoming appearance.

The annual event is set to award South Korean stars and musicians whose 2016 projects made a big impact in the Korean entertainment industry. The Asia Artist Awards will be held at Kyunghee University on Nov. 16, Wednesday.
