"Teen Wolf" is making some last minute additions to its cast. The hit MTV series is set to introduce a new character in Season 6 who will play a pivotal role on Beacon Hills High School.

As first reported by Deadline, "Teen Wolf" has recruited "Black Sails" actress Sibo Mlambo to play Tamora Monroe, the new humanities teacher and guidance counselor at Scott's high school. She is described as "charismatic, smart and inspires students with her passion - a passion that can get too intense." Monroe is set to appear in a recurring basis throughout Season 6.

Mlambo joins series cast members Tyler Posey, Dylan O'Brien and Holland Roden and other surprise guest stars on "Teen Wolf" Season 6. In July, it was revealed that the ultimate season will introduce the Ghost Riders as the new Big Bad. Executive producer Jeff Davis teased that these new characters are part of Season 5's Wild Hunt mythology.

"The idea is that the Wild Hunt passes through your town and if you see the Ghost Riders, they'll take you with them and make you part of the hunt," Davis told Entertainment Weekly.

"They pick up the dead as well. They serve different mythological functions, but for us, they bring a lot of danger to Beacon Hills when this storm of Ghost Riders gets stuck."

In other developments, the official plot details for the first two episodes of "Teen Wolf" Season 6 have been released online. According to MTV, here's a synopsis of what will happen in the first two hours:

"With graduation approaching, a supernatural force rides into Beacon Hills and crosses paths with Scott and his friends, while Liam discovers evidence of a new enemy in the high school.

While Scott, Lydia and Malia search for lost memories of a missing friend, Corey discovers a connection between his abilities and the Wild Hunt."

"Teen Wolf" Season 6 premieres on Tuesday, November 15 at 9PM on MTV.
