"Grey's Anatomy" Season 13, episode 8 trailer is filled with tension and emotions as the group of doctors, who are trying to save the life of a patient in the operating room, face personal and career struggle. While inside the operating room, they are all going to be haunted by memories of their loved ones.
The Shonda Rhimes medical drama series episode 8 will see doctors Meredith Grey (Ellen Pompeo), Richard Webber (James Pickens Jr), Owen Hunt (Kevin McKidd) and Stephanie Edwards (Jerrika Hinton) facing a tough time doing a key operation to save the patient. Dr. Grey and Dr. Webber will clash as the former shows who is now in-charge in the O.R.
While preparing for the operation, the surgery will bring tons of memories to doctors Grey, Webber and Hunt in "Grey's Anatomy" Season 13, episode 8, according to ABC News. Dr. Edwards will recall the time when she battled sickle cell disease in her younger years. Dr. Webber will remember Gail Webber (Monique Cash), whose relation to the doctor is unknown, and it is likely that she suffered from the same fate as the patient.
With the rumored shakeup at Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital, Dr. Grey seems happy with her new role in the hospital while surpassing her former mentor Dr. Webber. As seen in the clip of episode 8, Dr. Grey is resisting any suggestion coming from Dr. Webber and Dr. Owen.
When Dr. Webber recommended that they should discuss the options for the patient, Dr. Grey confidently replied by saying no. Dr. Webber asked the reason why they will not discuss the plan for the surgery, and Dr. Grey responded by saying it is because she already outrank him.
Viewers are also going to see Dr. Grey interrupting Dr. Owen when the "Grey's Anatomy" Season 13, episode 8 returns. When Dr. Owen asked for sutures, Dr. Grey demanded not to make a cut. However, as the doctors dispute escalates, the life of the patient is placed in great danger.
In the new episode "The Room Where It Happens, " it seems there is a possibility that the patient will not make it due to the doctors bickering. Viewers have to wait and see if the patient will survive amidst the arguments of the doctors in the O.R. Under new leadership, all the surgeons face confusion in the risky surgery, according to Carter Matt.
Another thing that viewers have to see is Dr. Arizona Robbins' (Jessica Capshaw) new love interest Dr. Eliza Minnick (Marika Dominczyk). Dr. Minnick may stay at the hospital, but Dr. Webber has to go.
