"Grey's Anatomy" Season 13 is gearing up for its upcoming mid-season finale, and some of the cast members dished on what viewers can expect from the episode.

While speaking with Entertainment Weekly, Kelly McCreary, Jerrika Hinton, Jason George and Giacomo Gianniotti were each asked to describe the installment. McCreary described it as "rubble," Hinton dubbed it as "complicated," and George said "justice."

By the looks of it, the descriptions given by the cast members have something to do with either their fates or the fate of another character. There are rumors that rubble, complicated and justice may have to do with Alex Karev's (Justin Chambers) future as a surgeon at Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital. The male character was recently involved in a serious altercation after he assaulted his colleague, Andrew DeLuca (Gianniotti).

Meanwhile, Gianniotti, who was previously rumored to be axed from the show before season 13, also opened up about the episode. He said, "There are certainly a couple long-coming truths that are revealed."

The actor also opened up about his character's budding relationship with Jo Wilson (Camilla Luddington). "They've gotten really close through this trial. He's found a real friend in her, and through that, maybe something more than that has developed." This may not sit well with Jolex shippers who have been clamoring for the two characters to tie the knot since last season.

On the other hand, Merlex supporters may be rejoicing because Andrew and Jo's closeness could open doors for a possible Alex-Meredith (Ellen Pompeo) relationship.

In other news, McCreary also confirmed that her character, Maggie, will soon find out the truth about Meredith and Nathan Riggs' (Martin Henderson) hookup. By the looks of it, the revelation could destroy the sisters' relationship.

"Grey's Anatomy" season 13 airs Thursdays at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.
