It is interesting that The Undertaker is going to appear on the show being managed by Shane McMahon. He faced off with the current SmackDown Live commissioner at Hell in a Cell at WrestleMania 32 and won.

Nevertheless, many fans are just happy that The Undertaker is going to appear on WWE television again. There were a lot of rumors since WrestleMania 32 that he has retired from wrestling. Some photos of him in crutches also went viral but it was confirmed that he underwent hip surgery, possibly to prepare for one more match.

According to Sportskeeda, The Deadman is now schedule to face with Orton at WrestleMania 33 next year. The WWE swerved fans by having The Viper join The Wyatt Family and reveal his inner dark side just in time for The Undertaker's return.

The belief backstage is that the WWE wants a veteran like Orton to work with The Undertaker because of his health issues. It should be noted that The Undertaker vs. Orton already happened back in 2005 at WrestleMania 21 in Los Angeles, California.

During that time, Orton was just a 25-year-old legend killer and targeted The Phenom. He came close to defeating The Undertaker with the help of his father, "Cowboy" Bob Orton. However, The Undertaker came out victorious in their match.

There have been talks that WrestleMania 33 would be The Undertaker's last event since the WWE will promote his retirement match. Nevertheless, these are just purely speculative at this point and everyone should just watch the 900th episode of SmackDown Live to find out.

Besides Orton, some of the names mentioned as a possible opponent for The Undertaker at WrestleMania 33 include John Cena, Sting, Bill Goldberg, Kevin Owens and Hulk Hogan. Check out the video below to get hyped for The Undertaker's return to SmackDown Live.
