"Young Justice" explores the adventures of the DC superhero sidekicks as they try to branch out and grow as individual heroes in their own right and as a team. Under the guidance of the Justice League, the team will act as an covert ops unit that investigate cases and dangers the League would not normally handle. Missions will be assigned by Batman, while Red Tornado, Black Canary and Shazam will provide training and counseling.

The original group consist of Dick Grayson/Robin, Wally West/ Kid Flash, Kaldur'ahm/Aqualad, Conner Kent/Superboy, Megan Morse/Miss Martian and Artemis Crock/Artemis.

New members such as Zatanna, Raquel Ervin/Rocket and Roy Harper/ Red Arrow join the team and by season 2, DC characters like Time Drake, Batgirl, Blue Beetle, Impulse, Arsenal, Bumble Bee, Wonder Girl and many more join the group.

Fans will likely see more DC characters join the team in "Young Justice" season 3 as ComicBookMovie made a list of possible new recruits for the team such as Supergirl, Vibe, Silver Banshee, Speedy and Jesse Quick.

What makes them interesting additions is that these character are currently seen in DC TV series such as "Arrow", "The Flash" and "Supergirl" and there popularity in the live-action shows will likely be exploited for season 3.

Another possibility for "Young Justice" season 3's plot could explore the return of Wally West in the show.

YouTube channel Emergency Awesome hinted that Wally West could return to the team the same way in the DC Rebirth. Wally sacrificed his life to save the world from the Reach's bomb at the end of season 2. It created a devastating blow for the team especially to Dick Grayson now Nightwing, Aqualad and Artemis. Bart Allen honors Wally by taking on his alias of Kid Flash as the team moves on and continue the fight.

There is no announcement of the premier date for "Young Justice" season 3.
