The tvN bodyguard drama "The K2" featured several exciting and romantic scenes between the show's protagonists Je Ha and Anna, portrayed by Girls Generation member Yoona and Ji Chang Wook, respectively. Recently, the South Korean actor revealed interesting details about his kiss scenes with the Kpop singer, as well as his future plans.
Ji was candid during a press event where he talked about the recently concluded tvN drama "The K2" and his on-screen chemistry with the Girls Generation singer. When asked about the kiss scenes featured in the bodyguard series, the actor shared his and co-star Yoona's preparations.
Coffee chats and constant conversations about life, hobbies and personal interests helped the two South Korean celebrities to form a close bond which made kissing scenes less awkward, All Kpop quoted the actor as saying. The said strategy even helped the two stars to complete a kiss scene just days after the tvN drama started filming activities in Spain.
The "Healer" actor was referring to Je Ha and Anna's romantic kiss scene held in a scenic Barcelona location that was featured in "The K2" final episode. It may have served as a closing sequence for the tvN drama, however, the two celebrities filmed the said scene several weeks before the show premiered.
Moreover, Ji also made mention of the ad libs that he and Yoona did for the kiss scene where they were covered with a thick blanket. Dubbed as the "blanket kiss," the actor recounted how they tried to inject a few fun moments while filming the scene.
In other news, the actor shared his thoughts about his upcoming projects and impending mandatory two-year military enlistment. In an interview with Korean news outlet Joins, the actor mentioned that he is expecting to receive his enlistment orders either in February or March 2017.
Delaying the mandatory military service may also be difficult to do, according to the actor. As for future plans, Ji shared that he may be open to completing one project prior his enlistment.
