Electronic Arts and DICE's update will be rolling out just right after the "Rogue One" DLC and other new content will land in December. Specifically, it has been mentioned on a tweet by Electronic Arts' DICE Associate Design Director Dennis Brännvall that their team is well on its way to distributing the upcoming balance patch, together with the game's movie tie-in "Rogue One" DLC plus the very first VR experience.

Additionally, the stand-alone multiplayer game's DLC will be called "Star Wars Battlefront Rogue One: Scarif," University Herald reported. The new "Star Wars Battlefront" patch is absolutely a necessary update as many fans got frustrated with the numerous problems and bugs in the game.

Also, the glitches made it tough for players to enjoy the Heroes Vs. Villains matches. Longtime invisibility also becomes a repetitive spam move that certain players are taking advantage of.

It can be remembered that in July, the "Rogue One" DLC was announced. Patrons learned that the new DLC, which is based on the upcoming prequel movie from Disney, will feature the planet Scarif.

Scarif is a beach planet, which means fans should anticipate some tropical maps. Jyn Erso and Director Orson Krennic will also be featured in the game as their characters play a big role in the upcoming "Rogue One" movie.

Nevertheless, there is still no specific information on what to expect for the Battlefront patch which is set to be rolled out in December. Patrons could expect that the "Rogue One: Scarif" DLC will have a price close to its three predecessors, which means the new expansion will possibly cost around $15.
