Ji Chang-Wook, 29, has opened up about his personal life. The Hallyu star recently revealed why he does not have a girlfriend and why those waiting for him to settle down may have to wait a little longer.

After tvN's "The K2" aired its finale on Nov. 12, Ji sat down for an interview with local media at a café in Itaewon, Seoul, South Korea. The Hallyu star said he struggles to develop romantic relationships with women because of his impending military service.

"I really want to date, but I have to fulfill my military obligation," The Kpop Herald quoted Ji as saying. "So, dating probably won't be good for me and my partner."

The "Healer" actor revealed whenever he got involved in a fling with someone, it always ends up disappearing. He stressed that dating is harder than it looks and that is the reason he gets thrilled when there is a romantic relationship in any of his projects.

When asked about his ideal type, the actor said he hopes to meet a woman whom he can easily connect with, stating that appearances are just temporary. He added, "I want somebody I can have deep conversations with. I think that kind of connection is very precious."

Ji, who made his onscreen debut in 2006's "Days," will star next in the upcoming web drama "Six First Kisses." He will be joined by Lee Joon-Gi, Park Hae-Jin, Lee Jong-Suk, EXO's Kai and 2PM's Taecyeon, according to local newsoutlet News 1, as cited by All Kpop.

"First Kiss for the Sixth Time" follows a woman, Choi Ji-Woo (Lee Cho-Hee), who picks the perfect partner for her first kiss among six beautiful men. Her options are a chaebol church oppa (Joon-Gi), a top Hallyu star (Jong-Suk), a sexy secret agent (Ji), a romantic co-worker (Park), an adorable younger male friend (Kai) and a naïve rich kid (Taecyeon).
