Meizu is allegedly working on Xiaomi Mi MIX killer. The alleged Meizu Pro 7 is expected to be the second smartphone to feature super-slim bezel design like Xiaomi Mi MIX.
Meizu Pro 7 is the Xiaomi Mi MIX Killer
Before Meizu Pro 7 gets an official announcement its specs rumors are updated every then and now. Earlier this month, Android Pure reported the leaked images and specifications of Pro 7 that was posted by a leakster on the Chinese social site Weibo.
The leaked details suggest that the Meizu Pro 7 will be coming with with 5.62-inch Super AMOLED edge-to-edge display that will provide the resolution of 1080 x 2160 pixels. It is assumed to provide 99 percent screen-to-body ratio that is higher than that of Xiaomi Mi MIX smartphone. It will measure 33 x 70 x 6.5 mm in dimensions.
Kirin 960 Chipset
Meizu's latest model like Pro 6 and Pro 6s are powered by MediaTek chipset, but fresh information suggests that the Meizu Pro 7 will receive power from Huawei's Hisilicon Kirin 960 chipset that includes Cortex-A73 CPU and Mali-G71 MP8 GPU.
The Meizu Pro 7 is expected to arrive in two variants of internal storage such as 64 GB and 128 GB with 6 GB of RAM instead of 4 GB RAM that was rumored earlier.
It is expected to have 12-megapixel rear camera of IMX 386 sensor that is made by Sony and 8-megapixel front facing camera for selfie. The Pro 6s that was announced earlier this month is also equipped with 12-megapixel rear camera.
It has been also revealed that it will have ultrasonic fingerprint sensor powered by Sonavation embedded under the display. Its battery will be featured with 4.0 Rapid Charge technology that will charge the battery up to 100 percent in 40 minutes of charging. The Pro 7 is also expected to feature USB Type-C and 3.5 mm audio jack, Playful Droid reported.
Meizu Pro 7 Pricing, Release Date
The 64 GB and 128 GB variants of Meizu Pro 7 are rumored to be priced at 2,699 Yuan ($394) and 3,099 Yuan ($450) respectively. Even though speculations indicate Dec. 24 unveil date for Meizu Pro 7, other rumors indicate that it may release next year.
