"It's true that Jo Jung Suk is appearing on 'The Legend of the Blue Sea'. He wasn't able to film yet due to his busy schedule. Please check on the broadcast to find out how he'll be appearing," Allkpop quoted the actors' agency Culture Depot as saying.

Another actress will also make an appearance in "The Legend of the Blue Sea." Park Jin Hoo, who received tons of praise for her portrayal as the unamused nurse in "Don't Dare to Dream," is going to film a scene for "The Legends of the Blue Sea," Soompi reported

Both Jo Jung Suk and Park Jin Hoo are going to appear in episode 6 and episode 7 of "The Legend of the Blue Sea."

"The Legend of the Blue Sea" has a stellar list of cameo appearances ranging from f(x)'s Krystal to Hong Jin Kyung. More stars are expected to appear on the drama given its current popularity in South Korea and the rest of the globe.

Lee Min Ho and Jun Ji Hyun's drama series is breaking records in South Korea, having reached the 20 percent viewing mark with its recent episodes. At this rate, it is expected that "The Legend of the Blue Sea" could reach the same level of success as KBS' "Descendants of the Sun" or possibly surpass it.

Episode 6 saw an increase in viewership to 22.1 percent across South Korea's metropolitan area. It is hoped that the SBS fantasy drama will reach the 30 percent nationwide viewership rating in its fifth week broadcast. "Descendants of the Sun" reached the same milestone with its ninth episode, which drew in a 30.4 percent viewership score.
