New details for "No Man's Sky" will feature new creatures leaked online and upcoming patch updates for the PC version.

Several gamers playing "No Man's Sky" have discovered new creatures that are possibly added to the game's "Foundation Update". These scary looking creatures are not currently found within the game, so there is a good chance that they might be implemented in a future update, WCCFTech reported.

Hello Games founder Sean Murray announced the "Foundation Update" as a solution to "No Man's Sky's" lack of expansion, features and numerous in-game problems, which affected the game's overall sales and reviews. The Foundation Update will have base building features, some tweaks and alterations within "No Man's Sky". Unfortunately, Murray failed to provide any particulars as to what the patch would include, nor did it define a specific time frame for the update.

While Hello Games is pretty silent about the "Foundation Update" in "No Man’s Sky", they did allude to the controversy surrounding the game since its launch, which has included the developer receiving backlash from players demanding refunds, having its own subreddit close due to hateful criticism, and experiencing a strange hacking situation with its Twitter account. Not to mention, the studio has been under investigation by the Advertising Standards Authority for claims of false advertisements, but Hello Games remains positive that receptivity is key in winning back fans.

Meanwhile, Hello Games is testing out a new patch update for "No Man's Sky" in the PC platform as it introduces several fixes within the game.

These includes reports of some people experiencing issues with the game while unsupported mods are installed. Hello Games added mod detection which will show a warning screen on loading when mods are detected. A click or button press will dismiss this screen.

Another is remapping of the build menu and quick menu commands to support Azerty keyboards. Fixed an issue which, in some rare cases, prevented NPCs from giving you mission critical dialogue. Fixed a bug which could cause core items to be transferred from exosuit inventory to starship inventory.

Other fixes include a number of rare crashes, monitor detection on PCs with 3rd party remote desktop or screen sharing applications and running the game via the .exe file should no longer give Steam Init errors, Gamerant reported.

"No Man's Sky" is currently available for the PS4 and PC platforms.
