"Final Fantasy XV" director Hajime Tabata announced that upcoming updates will contain additional playable characters, new scenes, avatar system, and many more. Fans are also giving their own suggestions for the game.

Tabata wrote on the official blog of Square Enix that he is thankful to the fans and other players around the world for the support since they have shipped five million units worldwide on their release day. He is thankful that they are playing this new style of "Final Fantasy."

The game director clarified that the release day is not the end of the video game because there are more contents from the development team to share. Due to the great reception they have received from the fans worldwide, this has allowed them to expand their plans even further.

Tabata and his development team want the fans and players to enjoy "Final Fantasy XV" for a long time to come. They have been listening to their ideas on how to make the game experience better, which is why they are going to add more content aside from the previously announced ones.

The development team early plans involve in making some aspects of the game have more content like adding gameplay enhancements for Chapter 13. They also want to add the buffing ring magic to it to make it easier for the players.

After adding such contents on the early parts, the team is hoping to go deeper into the story by adding more scenes to it give new insight in some character motivations. For that, they are asking for more time so that they can make some localized voices and also in other languages.

Tabata revealed that for the long term, they are looking for ways to make some key characters playable. They are even considering the possibility of making customizable avatars in the future.

The game director said that they are also thinking about letting players carry over their stats from a previous playthrough. They want to add new items that will introduce new playstyles like low-level runs and god mode. They also want to add some content that players can enjoy in real-time like new bosses with exclusive rewards, achievements, and limited-time hunts.

According to the official website of Reddit, some fans of "Final Fantasy XV" have made their own suggestions to improve the game. One member suggested that they want to have multiple hunter quests checked all at once to make it convenient for them. Another one also wanted to make multiple quest markers on the map.
