Recently, the "Goblin" actor's surprise fan service during the "Age of Shadows" special screening event was revealed. Held in South Korea in early September, Gong and his fellow cast members took to the stage to greet the event attendees. The said moment also gave avid fans who attended the movie screening the chance to film or take pictures of their favorite stars while they were on-stage.

A video clip that was taken by a fan during the said event, as cited by Soompi, captured Gong giving a quick wink to another fan who was filming him from the side of the stage. The action appears to be instinctive and was meant as a special treat to his fan given the smile on his face before he winked.

However, the actor immediately displayed an embarrassed yet cute reaction after he realized that other event attendees noticed his fan service. Gong was filmed bashfully looking down at the floor after he winked and trying to hold back a big smile.

Meanwhile, Gong's tvN drama "Goblin" posted strong TV ratings following its impressive premiere week viewership shares. Episode 3 that aired on Dec. 9, Friday, reached double-digit ratings of 12.47 percent, according to Nielsen Korea, as cited by All Kpop.

Compared to the tvN fantasy series' first episode, the viewership share for episode 3 nearly doubled in percentage. Released on Dec. 2, the premiere episode of "Goblin" reached TV ratings of 6.33 percent.
