Randy Orton gave his take on several questions about his current run as a member of the Wyatt Family, including the possibility of changing wrestling gears. Moreover, he also revealed that once he was originally booked to wrestle with now teammate Luke Harper last year.

In interview with Tom Clark of Main Event Episode 66 via Wrestling Inc, Orton admitted that he's having a great time with his current role as a member of the Wyatt Family. The third-generation superstar considers it refreshing in a way that it is far removed from his Legend Killer or the Viper persona.

Orton even admits that he even considered changing gears to perfectly blend with the Wyatt's dark aura.

"Yeah, [being a part of The Wyatt Family is refreshing]. I almost want to change up my gear, but I'm not quite sure where to go with it. Like, I need to find out who made Bray's stuff. It's kind of like a Baron Corbin-esque like thing he [has] got going on. I should say Baron's got a Bray Wyatt thing going on, but either way, I've been in the same gear for well over a decade.

It's cool to see guys kind of evolve and that are always changing things up and I've never been like that. I might introduce a new move here and there or a new attitude here and there, but what I'm starting to realize is the creativity is, there's no limit to it and it can always pull you back if you're not willing to really think about your character and make those changes."

Orton also revealed that he was once booked to fight Luke Harper in a pre-show of Hell in a Cell 2015, but the fight was cancelled after he suffered the injury. Nevertheless, he's still expecting to go one-on-one Harper at some point in the future.

"[Harper]'s great. Like, before I was injured, I was supposed to work with him in a singles match, I think in the pre-show of Hell In A Cell in 2015. And I was looking forward to that. We've never touched. And somewhere down the line, I'm sure that'll happen too. But for now and the next long while, I see my future being with them and dominating SmackDown."

After making a comeback from a long layoff, Orton made his return this in-ring return this summer, taking on Brock Lesnar in the main event of SummerSlam.

Although the match was lopsided in favor of the Beast Incarnate, his succeeding feud with Bray Wyatt added a new layer to his character. Now, he's currently a third of the Wyatt Family, who are the reigning Smackdown tag-team champions.
