The upcoming episode of the tvN drama "Goblin" will show the growing closeness between the titular immortal Shin (Gong Yoo) and his destined bride Eun Tak (Kim Go Eun). Latest spoiler news teased of Shin's jealous antics as Eun Tak reunites with her first love, while a road accident may injure the goblin's bride severely.
"Goblin" episode 7 will feature the aftermath of Eun Tak's failed attempts to remove the magical sword embedded on Shin's chest. Scheduled to air on Dec. 23, Friday, the said episode will also provide the destined couple the chance to learn more about each other and further develop their budding romance.
Despite Eun Tak's inability to grasp the sword, Shin will decide to keep his goblin bride living inside his house against the grim reaper's (Lee Dong Wook) advice. The surprise kiss that Eun Tak gave Shin, as shown in "Goblin" episode 6, also strengthened the growing romance between the two characters.
However, Shin will soon meet his potential rival when Eun Tak suddenly meets her first love Tae Hee (guest star Jung Hae In), who is a member of a college baseball team. Viewers can expect to see the goblin's funny antics as he visits the baseball team's locker room to check out his competition.
"Goblin" episode 7 will also feature some sweet yet hilarious moments between the goblin couple as they enjoy a movie date and a fun stroll in the park. Shin and Eun Tak's happy times together may end in a heartbreaking moment as the goblin's bride will be involved in a car accident.
Meanwhile, latest photo stills released by tvN, as obtained by Korean news outlet inews24, showed the tense encounter between the goblin and Tae Hee. Shin appears to be ready to out-macho his rival, however, the college baseball player does not seem impressed with the goblin's efforts.
In other news, "Goblin," also known as "Guardian: The Lonely and Great God" continues to post impressive TV ratings for a pay channel drama. Episode 6 reached a viewership share of 12.9 percent, according to Nielsen Korea, as cited by Chosun.
