The Running Man fan meeting schedules remains to be unchanged. The members of the hit TV show are scheduled to travel two cities each month to see their loving fans in Asia starting from January to March next year.
With the recent controversies of Song Ji Hyo and Kim Jong Kook's departure, it eventually points to the Chief producer Gong Hee Chul as the alleged person behind the removal of the two stars from the show.
The fan meeting tour will still take place with no changes; however, Gary and Yoo Jae Suk will not be able to attend due to conflict of schedule. The Running Man producers released a statement saying that "All members except Gary and Yoo Jae Suk will be attending the fan meeting. The contract for the fan meeting has been confirmed ahead of time."
Following the news of the controversy, both of Song and Kim's agencies have confirmed that the two parties were blind-sided by the hit variety show's producers. Both members were not given proper notice.
It has been over a month since Gary officially left "Running Man." The star took to Instagram to post a sweet photo and message after the announcement of the departure of his former "Running Man" members Song Ji Hyo and Kim Jong Kook, Allkpop reported
He applauded both members and wrote, "You guys worked very very very hard. Thank you." Gary also added many thumbs-up emoticons after to give acknowledgement and praise the hard efforts of his members.
SBS officially announced that "Running Man" will permanently end, and that the last episode of the show is set to air in February next year.
On other news, "Running Man" cast member Yoo Jae Suk appeared on the Dec. 15 broadcast of KBS 2TV's "Happy Together" where he shared that his son does not watch TV shows that have him in it, Allkpop reported.
Yoo Jae Suk explained, "First of all, Ji Ho doesn't watch TV shows with me in it. He knows that I am a celebrity, but because he doesn't watch the show, I don't think he knows that I am famous."
