Perhaps, the most exciting thing that might come in "The Originals" Season 4 is the father-daughter reunion and bond between Klaus and Hope Mikaelson. But before anything else, actor Joseph Morgan revealed that Klaus will wake up with even more bloodthirsty.
As already revealed by "The Originals" showrunner Michael Narducci, "The Originals" Season 4 will pick up five years after Marcel took over New Orleans and trapped Klaus in his garden of vampires. In the upcoming season, Hayley and Hope set out to find a cure that would save Klaus and the rest of the Mikaelson coven.
In an interview with TV Over Mind at San Diego Comic Con 2016, Morgan revealed that Klaus' strongest connection is that with his daughter, and that her "unconditional love is something that changed him forever."
With Klaus gunning for revenge against Marcel and anyone that went in his way and caused the detriment of his family, it will be almost impossible to stop Klaus from turning into a merciless killing machine. But hope is not lost for Klaus, as Morgan teased that his character's anchor to his humanity in "The Originals" Season 4 is her daughter.
Five years is a long time to be away from your family, so fans can definitely expect some heartfelt moment between Klaus and Hope in "The Originals" Season 4. TV Line reported that the young Mikaelson kid will be portrayed by Summer Fontana. Hope is the first of her kind, having all vampire, wolf and witch gene running through her veins. With her powers, any enemy of Klaus should be very afraid.
In the teaser trailer released for "The Originals" Season 4, Hope longs for her father and asks her mother Hayley if they're going to save him, to which a determined Hayley replies in the affirmative.
"I'm excited to see what kind of personality this little girl has," actress Phoebe Tonkin, who plays Hayley, said. "Even though she hasn't been around her dad for the last five years, I think there's a lot of Klaus in her - good or bad - and I'm excited to see that in this little powerful witch."
