It's the Battle of Los Angeles on Christmas Day as the Lakers and Clippers clash at the Staples Center. The Clippers are coming into the game hobbling while the young Lakers want to get their swagger back that has gone missing this month.

Lakers vs. Clippers Game Preview
The Clippers (22-9) are without Blake Griffin for the next several weeks after undergoing minor knee surgery. Chris Paul is also questionable for the game because of a hamstring injury suffered in the win against the Spurs on Thursday and he missed the game against the Dallas Mavericks on Friday.
And without their two superstars, the Clips fall in Dallas with a score of 90-88 after the game-winning shot by Harrison Barnes. Jamal Crawford's 26 points off the bench was not enough but they have a one-day rest before the Battle of Los Angeles.
On the other hand, the Lakers (11-22) continue their free fall this December as they lost to the Orlando Magic on Friday, 109-90. Jordan Clarkson led the way off the bench as he scored 18 points but it was not enough.
Luke Walton's young team has lost its momentum as they have gone 1-9 this month. They have gone from a surprise playoff team back to being a lottery team. Julius Randle, who missed the last two games due to the birth of his son, is expected to play against the Clippers.
