Celebrity chef Lee Chan Oh and model/TV personality Kim Sae Rom's divorce has turned ugly. Days after the estranged couple announced their divorce, a scandalous new video has shed new light on their split.
Representatives of the "Please Take Care of My Refrigerator" star and the TV host announced the divorce in a statement obtained by All Kpop on Dec. 23, Friday. The reps stated that Lee and Kim had decided to end their marriage after a year and four months due to irreconcilable differences.
At the time of the divorce announcement, both celebrities' reps refused to share any further details behind the divorce, saying that it was a personal matter between the couple. However, fresh new details about the split have surfaced after a video apparently showing Kim violently attacking Lee was leaked online.
In the video clip, which has since gone viral, an intoxicated woman who appears to be Kim can be seen physically abusing the celebrity chef. The model repeatedly kicks Lee while he lies on the ground and attempts to capture the incident using his phone.
The news of the couple's divorce led to speculation that Lee's cheating scandal was the reason behind their decision to go their separate ways. Lee was accused of infidelity after a video of him getting cosy with another woman sitting on his lap at a restaurant leaked a few months ago.
However, the newly surfaced video evidence of Kim physically assaulting Lee will lead many to point fingers in the other direction. The footage of the attack was apparently recorded before his cheating scandal, according to Koreaboo. Reports claim that the incident was not an isolated one and that Kim often turned abusive after a few drinks.
