Video gamers might have heard familiar voices in the games they play. Unknowingly, some familiar celebrities have taken their talents into the gaming industry in the way of voice acting. Here are five famous celebrities who voiced video game characters:

1. Liam Neeson

The 64-year-old actor who played Ra's al Ghul in the "Batman Begins" series voiced the father of the main character, James, in the video game, "Fallout 3." Neeson voiced alongside veteran Hollywood actors Ron Perlman and Malcolm McDowell.

"Fallout 3" shipped 4.7 million copies by the end of 2008, the year of its release, and was critically acclaimed by reviewers. It is one of the 100 greatest games of all time in the list of Empire. 

2. Neil Patrick Harris

The "Doogie Howser, M.D." actor has been on a mainstay in the video game series, "Saints Row." He voiced the character Veteran Child in both "Saints Row 2" and "Saints Row IV." Harris has been a busy man as he transfers from Veteran Child to Count Olaf in the Netflix series "A Series of Unfortunate Events" that will be showed in 2017.

3. Haley Joel Osment

Most famous for his role in M. Night Shyamalan's "The Sixth Sense," Osment was a part of the "Kingdom Hearts" series for more than decade. The 28-year-old voiced the game's main protagonist, Sora, from 2002 until the 2014 version of the game. According to CNET, "Kingdom Hearts 1.5" and "2.5 Remix" games will be released in the PlayStation 4 in March 2017.

4. Elijah Wood

The "Lord of the Rings" star did not go far from the fantasy world as he voiced the adorable violet dragon Spyro in "The Legend of Spyro" trilogy. From 2006 to 2008, Wood had voiced Spyro alongside Gary Oldman and Mae Whitman

5. Mark Hamill

Most famous for reprising the role of Luke Skywalker in the "Star Wars" series, Hamill did not just voice the Joker in the "Batman: The Animated Series" but also in the Batman video games as well. He voiced Joker in the games, "Batman: Arkham Asylum" and "Batman: Arkham City."
