The "Diablo" franchise from Blizzard is without a doubt the game series that launched the game maker to its renown. Two decades after, the game series still is one of the acclaimed hack and slash dungeon raider titles that it released "Diablo 3"  in 2012. In celebration of its 20th year of existence, all of Blizzard's current titles will be getting "Diablo" themed stuff that will be evident in future updates.

The game itself already received an anniversary update in the form of the so-called "Darkening of Tristram" event that was blurted out at the 2016 BlizzCon, PC Gamer reported. Players were somewhat transported back in the mid-90s and delved into the famed Tristram Cathedral that was first introduced in the original game.

In addition, Blizzard even incorporated a "retro vision" pixelated filter where the graphics and even the characters' movements were toned down to how it was played back then, Polygon reported. The throwback event has also brought in exclusive items including a shard from the "Lord of Terror's" Soulstone.

Blizzard's first-person shooter - "Overwatch" will have various sprays depicting the different hero classes in "Diablo 3." Players will also get a player icon that is taken from the likeness of the youngest Prime Evil. The same thing goes with "StarCraft 2" as players will have their worker icons replaced with the face of "Diablo" himself.

"World of Warcraft," on the other hand, might have visitors from "Diablo's" Sanctuary. The description suggests that the inhabitants of the mortal realm might be paying the people of Azeroth a visit. A hint was also given to what will be in store for the online card game "Hearthstone." It is said that a "hooded stranger" will be making an appearance in the game in possession of a "grim deck" that will definitely get every player of the game's attention.

Meanwhile, the multiplayer online battle arena (MOBA) title, "Heroes of the Storm" is likely to be getting a new map ready to laid to waste by its players. Moreover, it was also mentioned that "Diablo" themed portraits will be spotted in future updates.
