Super Mario Run is available for iOS device users since Dec. 15. Fresh information suggestion the official Android app would be available soon to the users.
The Super Mario Run game is now listed on Google Play Store. It is now available for pre-registration which is an indication that the game would be releasing soon for Android users. However, the actual release date has not been announced.
Users who pre-register on Play Store will be notified when the game is officially made available. Soon after the official release is nearing, its APK file is likely to be available on APK download sites. Using it players from across the world could enjoy the game.
A lot of hype was created by Nintendo by announcing the game at the iPhone 7 launch event in September. Soon after announcing the game, it was available for pre-register on iOS App Store. It took 3 months for Nintendo to launch the game for iOS users in December, Phone Arena reported.
Now the Android edition of Super Mario Run is available for pre-registration. It is likely that the game may take a few more months for it be available for playing.
The Super Mario Run, the first mobile game from Nintendo raked in 40 million downloads in the starting four days of its release. However, its rating has gone down to 2.5 on the App Store because of the negative feedback and dismal sales.
The main reason why people are losing interest in the game is that unlike popular games like Pokemon GO and Candy Crush Saga that requires users to make in-app purchases, the Super Mario Run players are required to spend a one-time fee of $9.99 to enjoy full edition of the game that includes 24 levels. The free version of the game only allows users to play its first three levels.
The Super Mario Run Android version would be identical to iOS edition in terms of game play and pricing. One should be aware of the fact that users are required to be connected to the internet all the time. It means players won't be able to play in areas with poor network connectivity.
