In an interview with TVLine, the cast members and showrunners teased of what viewers can expect from the series' final season. Bree Turner commented on her character Rosalee's pregnancy and how they experimented with a few fake pregnant bellies to show the expectant mom's growing tummy.

However, fans who may be hoping to see Rosalee's maternity style may be disappointed with Season 6. Turner shared that her character would only be six weeks pregnant when "Grimm" returns to the small screens.

Moreover, avid viewers of the NBC series will witness a time jump in the storyline that will happen toward the latter part of the show, according to showrunner David Greenwalt. Described as a "very interesting" story concept, it is still unclear if the time jump is linked to Rosalee's pregnancy.

Greenwalt also teased that Nick will find himself drawn to the magic stick in upcoming episodes of "Grimm" Season 6. He explained that given the stick's immense power, Nick will be very protective of the said item.

With the NBC show set to unveil its final chapter, Greenwalt also stated that the final season will feature a story that shows "great sorrow and great hope." He added, "We're leaving it in a good place."

Meanwhile, a recently released teaser clip revealed the aftermath of Renard's attack on Bonaparte (Shaun Toub) that led to the said character's death. Posted on TV Guide, Renard will confront Adalind (Claire Coffee) to ask whether she took control of his body to stab a sword into Bonaparte's chest.

After Adalind denied having anything to do with the said incident, Renard will suspect that their daughter Diana (Hannah R. Loyd) might be behind the said action. However, Adalind will not be ready to accept the possibility that their child might be the killer.

"Grimm" Season 6 will premiere on Jan. 6, 2017 on NBC. Watch a promo clip for the upcoming episode below:
