Samsung is all set for the launch of Galaxy A-series (2017) smartphones. The device will be officially announced on Jan. 5, in Malaysia. Leaked documents order to promote sales, Samsung is will be offering special deals on pre-orders.
The user manuals that have allegedly come from Samsung Russia has revealed that Galaxy A3 (2017), A5 (2017) and A7 (2017) are all IP68 certified water and dust resistant devices. All the three phones carry support for NFC, fingerprint readers embedded under Home button, Sam Mobile reported citing Chinese cite SoyaCincau.
These smartphones are expected to run on Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS and are expected to get updated to Nougat OS by first quarter next year. According to leaked documents, customers who pre-order the smartphones online between Jan. 6 to Jan. 15, Samsung Mobile Malaysia will be offering Level U Pro wireless headphone worth 399 Yuan ($89) for free. Very soon after Jan 15, the smartphones will be made available for sale.

Samsung has not announced the official pricing of the 2017 Galaxy A series smartphones. Leaked information suggests Galaxy A5 (2017) is priced at 1,699 Yuan ($378). The Galaxy A7 (2017) costs 1,899 Yuan ($424).
The Samsung Galaxy A7 (2017) pegged as the first Galaxy A series smartphone to feature water resistant chassis is rumored to get unveiled on January 2.
In comparison to the pricing of the predecessor models, the Galaxy A5 (2016) and Galaxy A7 (2016) are respectively priced at 1,599 Yuan ($230) and 1,899 Yuan ($273).

The Galaxy A3 (2017) with model number SM-A320 features 4.7-inch HD screen. The Galaxy A5 (2017) bearing serial no. SM-A520 will sport 5.2-inch screen with the full HD resolution of 1280 x 1080 pixels. The Galaxy A7 (2017) with model number SM-A720 has a 5.7-inch full HD display.
The A7, and A5 are expected to be powered by Exynos 7880 chipset whereas the A3 is rumored to feature Exynos 7870 SoC. The A7 features 3 GB of RAM whereas A5 and A3 houses 2 GB of RAM.
The Galaxy A7 (2017) is pegged to be available in 32 GB and 64 GB models whereas Galaxy A5 (2017) will come in single storage of 32 GB. The A3 (2017) is expected to come with 16 GB storage. All three phones are expected to feature microSD storage support.
The Galaxy A7 (2017) will either feature a 3,600 mAh or 3,500 mAh battery. The Galaxy A5 (2017) would be coming with 3,300 mAh battery. A 3,000 mAh battery is speculated to power Galaxy A3 (2017), PhoneArena reported citing WinFuture.
