Triple H is expected to face Seth Rollins at WrestleMania 33 but he has not appeared on television since helping Kevin Owens win the WWE Universal Championship. Many fans are wondering when Triple H will return to television.

"The Game" has only appeared several times on WWE television in 2016 and his last was on the Aug. 28 episode of Monday Night Raw. He screwed Rollins, who is his former protégé, and handed the WWE Universal Title to KO.

However, the WWE failed to get the storyline going since Triple H did not appear again and explain his actions. Rollins was stuck in a feud with Owens and Chris Jericho for several months until he mentioned Triple H's name a couple of weeks ago.

It seems like the WWE is going to resume the feud between Triple H and Rollins. There are lot speculations that the WWE COO will return early this January but "The Architect" might be stuck with Jericho once again. "Y2J" attacked Rollins after his match with Braun Strowman, per WWE.com.

As for the return of Triple H, Ringside News noted several months ago that Triple H is being kept out of television because of the low ratings of Monday Night Raw. WWE's top officials reportedly did not want to pull the trigger on his return when the viewers are down.

It is speculated that WWE will bring back Triple H when the ratings are up. Raw ratings usually go up when the NFL season is over and Super Bowl LI will be on February 5 in Houston. So fans should expect Triple H to return sometime after that date, possibly February 6 at the Moda Center in Portland.

According to Tom Clark of Bleacher Report, Triple H might return this month and it will not be good for the WWE. Even though he pointed out that Triple H will get a big ovation and his feud with Rollins is must-see television, there is a big chance that the company will repeat another storyline.

And what worries Clark the most is the fact that "The Game" might not put over Rollins. Nevertheless, he called Triple H's return "imminent and pointless."

"Triple H's imminent return feels pointless. It doesn't seem to serve a purpose, and the company has been moving fairly well without him. But he will be back, and fans will once again hail The King of Kings. Whether they want to is another matter," Clark wrote.
