Samsung's Smart View app may allow users to stream their videos to Samsung televisions. The new update teases the feature which is similar to Google Chromecast capabilities.

Screenshots of the app in the App Store page shows that it might finally allow Chromecast-like streaming with Samsung Smart TVs which would be a convenient way of watching FHD or UHD movies. Users would have no need to copy the video files onto a USB or to save them through downloading in the Smart TV as they will be able to stream it with their Samsung smartphones.

Samsung's Smart View app will also allow streaming via Amazon Prime, Hulu and YouTube, NDTV reported. Storage space will be saved as streaming does not require any download whatsoever. There are also some exclusive shows available in the different streaming services that are available.

Streaming services are slowly but surely becoming the norm for Internet users who want to watch videos as fast as possible. They do not need to download the video files and they are able to choose from a wide variety of shows and movies depending on the streaming service.

Besides the tease for the Chromecast-like capabilities, the Samsung Smart View app also has a new updated user interface design. A new virtual remote is also available for users who do not have the physical remote.

Netflix may also support the Samsung View app in the near future considering that they are one of the largest streaming providers in the world, Digital Trends reported. It would also be a big advantage as there are Netflix exclusives such as "A Series of Unfortunate Events," "Luke Cage," "Daredevil" and "Black Mirror."

There is no release date for the said features but the update may come soon considering that the screenshots are already revealed. All users have to do is to download the Smart View update and a Samsung Smart TV.
