"Doctors" star Kim Min Suk recently shared his thoughts on one of his most memorable scenes in the Korean drama. In the said scene, the actor who is the patient tearfully shaved his head as he prepared for his surgery.

Min Suk previously revealed through Woollim Entertainment that he did not have worries about doing the scene, Soompi reported. However, the decision did not come easy for the agency since the actor was an MC for the SBS music program "Inkigayo," where his styling was important since he interacts with South Korean idols.

"Because he liked the script, he had no worries about shaving his head. Since he is an MC for 'Inkigayo,' the agency worried about his styling but it was agreed upon after discussion," the agency told All Kpop.

On the Jan. 3 episode of "One Night of TV Entertainment," Min Suk said that he got more worried about shaving his head, the more he got angry at himself. Ultimately, he decided to give it a go.

"I thought to myself, 'It's a ridiculous worry that I'm having. If it helps the production, then I should go for it. What else am I thinking about?'" said Min Suk.

The actor also shared during the interview his first impression of his "Descendants of the Sun" co-star Song Joong Ki. Min Suk said that when he lived in Busan, he thought Joong Ki was handsome. He said he was able to confirm this when he saw the actor for the first time on the set of the series.

Min Suk also went on to talk about his grandmother, whom he thanked during his speech when he won the New Star Award at the 2016 SAF SBS Drama Awards. In his acceptance speech, the up-and-coming actor mentioned his grandmother and thanked her for taking good care of him.

During the interview, Min Suk said his grandmother was not only his grandmother, but also his best friend, mother and lover. He also revealed that her contact name in his phone was "Hal-Mang-Gu," a sweet way of saying "grandmother" in Korean.

Towards the end of the show, Min Suk had a 10-minute conversation with his grandmother via a phone call, where they exchanged "aegyos" (cute acts in Korean).
