Fans have to brace themselves for the Norse catastrophe in "Thor 3: Ragnarok" this 2017. The plot of the upcoming movie will be linked to "Avengers: Age of Ultron," which will be released this summer.

Chris Hemsworth will reprise his role as Thor while Tom Hiddleston will still be back as Loki.

One of the key characters to link the story plots is Scarlet Witch (Elizabeth Olsen), who has the ability to prompt nightmares on each member of the Avengers. Actor Chris Hemsworth did some revelations in his interview in Slash Film.

"For Thor, I think it's a corruption of power. With all of them having this much power and trying to have the understanding that we're in this sort of endless battle here and when this is going to end and how does it end? It's hard to even say what it will be in Thor's dream sequence but kicks in motion his movement," he said.

"That's where he really starts to kind of move through the story. Once them dream occurs he goes, 'Oh, I can see what's coming and my fear could be true' so yeah, it's a ticking clock," the actor added.

It is also rumored that Odin's vault has its tools that can defeat Ultron or trigger the Civil War, which include the infinity gauntlet, the heimdall, the warriors three, the warlocks eye, orb of Agamotto, and the spacestone infinity gem.

Meanwhile, fans are speculating on Thor's future as to whether he will face his death or not. Reddit user Luneytunes shared some thoughts.

"I think Chris Hemsworth/ Thor will make it to 'Avengers: Infinity Wars - Part 1.' Apart from the fact that he is contracted for three 'Thor' movies, and three 'Avengers movies, there is a shot in the previous 'Age of Ultron' trailer that shows Captain America's shield broken. If you look closely you will see Thor's arm also," Luneytunes said.

"I think this is the future shown by Scarlet Witch - and is his and possibly Steve Rogers' death in a faceoff with Thanos," the user continued.

"Thor 3: Ragnarok" is produced by Kevin Feige, together with Craig Kyle and Christopher Yost as writers. The movie will be distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures.

"Avengers: Age of Ultron" is set to premiere in theaters and cinemas on May 1 while "Thor 3: Ragnarok" will be released on Nov. 3, 2017.
