New details and possible spoilers for "The Flash" season 3 will feature the original timeline being restored and "Gorilla City" episode to be divided into two-parts.

Several rumors are making rounds regarding the possibility that Barry Allen/The Flash (Grant Gustin) could restore the orignal timeline before the events of "Flashpoint" in season 3. Barry's time travelling made serious consequences within "The Flash" TV series, saving his mother from Reverse-Flash (Matt Letcher) and lived in an alternate time were both his parents are alive and changed the course of destiny of his friends.

Barry felt first hand the effects of "Flashpoint" and went on to change it yet again, but this time things are more different now. Cisco Ramon's (Carlos Valdes) brother is dead, Caitlin Snow (Danielle Panabaker) turning into Killer Frost and even John Diggle's (David Ramsey) had a son John Diggle Jr. instead of Baby Sara.

Executive Greg Berlanti stated in an interview that he was not sure if "The Flash" would return to its original timeline before "Flashpoint" due to what they have already established on the show. He added that if they do not challenge themselves in creating new territory and new obstacles for the characters, it will be less rewarding to watch and probably less rewarding to play. Berlanti wanted to grow in terms of creativity as their characters do, Melty reported.

In other news, cast member David Sobolov tweeted that Gorilla Grodd is confirmed to return in the second haft of "The Flash" season 3.

Co-producer Andrew Kreisberg previously confirmed Grodd’s return in season 3 during the Television Critic’s Association summer press tour, revealing that Team Flash will be heading to Gorilla City for a two-episode arc. However, no details about Barry’s trip to Gorilla City, but Sobolov teased new details about the episode very soon, Screenrant reported.

Gorilla City was first teased during "The Flash" season 2 as a safe haven for Gorilla's who have been subjected to experiments like Grodd. Several sources claimed that this Gorilla City could be from Earth-19, Harrison "H.R." Wells (Tom Cavanagh) lives as he hinted talking gorillas in his earth and the Grodd of that alternate earth will fight Savitar during the show.

There is also an Earth-19 version of The Flash as Twitter page of YRRShoots tweeted an image of the individual who has the striking resemblance to the "Justice League 3000" version of the Scarlet Speedster.

The Flash returns on Tuesday, Jan. 24 at 8pm on The CW.
