Besides the Jan. 12 event, Nintendo will be holding another Switch event just hours after the former. Nintendo Switch specs, price and release dates may finally be unveiled at the Jan. 12 and Jan. 13 event.

The console itself is expected to be discussed at the first day of the event. Nintendo will be talking about the Switch's main features and probably to boast about their new switching technology which shocked the whole gaming world when it was first revealed.

Nintendo will be holding the Jan. 12 Nintendo Switch event starting at 8PM PT while the Jan. 12 event will start at 6:30 AM PT, Game Spot has learned. The Japanese video game company will be discussing Nintendo Switch games that will be released at launch and those that will roll out later.

So far, the confirmed games for the Nintendo Switch include "Dragon Quest X," "Dragon Quest XI," "Just Dance 2017," "Skyrim" and more. There are no graphics-heavy AAA games announced yet such as those from the "Call of Duty" or "Battlefield" franchise.

One possible reason is that the Nintendo Switch will actually be an inferior console in terms of its power to render graphics. There are even claims that the current PlayStation 4 and Xbox One will still be more powerful than the new console.

Even if the console is not released yet, there are already some accessories popping up. Snakebyte revealed their Nintendo Switch Starter Kit and Control Caps, Digital Trends reported. Another accessory from the German company is a stereo headset that boasts 40mm drivers which aims to enhance the Nintendo Switch gaming experience.

"The Legend of Zelda: Breath of Wild" may also launch alongside the Nintendo Switch in March. It will be one of the largest titles that will be coming to the hybrid console.

Fans will have to wait for the Jan. 12 and Jan. 13 event to find out more Nintendo Switch specs, features and the prices. Games for the hybrid console will also be revealed.
