West Ham is on a two-game losing skid after winning their previous three matches. The team is currently in the 13th spot of the 20-team English top flight table, seven points above the bottom three relegation zone.

The Hammers were blanked by streaking contenders Manchester United, 0-2, during their most recent fixture on Jan. 2 also at the London Stadium, as per SkySports.

The game started slowly for both sides as the first half ended without a goal. West Ham had a bad break early on as Algerian forward Sofiane Feghouli was sent off in the 15th minute after a controversial red card booking by referee Mike Dean.

United midfielder Juan Mata then broke the game's deadlock in the 63rd minute before Swede forward Zlatan Ibrahimović sealed the game in the 78th for the Red Devils, handing head coach Slaven Bilić's boys their 10 loss of the season.

Meanwhile, Crystal Palace extended their winless slide to six games following an embarrassing 1-2 defeat in the hands of bottom three squad Swansea City at their own home ground of Selhurst Park on Jan. 3, the Evening Standard reported.

The visitors opened the scoring in the 42nd minute with a header by English defender Alfie Mawson off a pass by Icelandic midfielder Gylfi Sigurdsson.

Head coach Sam Allardyce's squad was able to find the equalizer with seven minutes remaining before full-time via a stunning scissor-kick goal by Ivorian midfielder Wilfried Zaha from a cross by defender Martin Kelly.

However, the Swans were not to be denied that day as Spanish defender Angel Rangel buried the winner in the 88th minute from an assist by teammate Leroy Fer.

With the loss, Palace remained in the 17th place in the overall standings, only one point above the bottom three area.
