"Quantico" Season 2, episode 9 will air on Jan. 23 on ABC. In "Cleopatra," Alex and the other recruits will be schooled in the art of seduction. The lead character will see this as the perfect opportunity to get close to Owen (Blair Underwood). Unfortunately, flirting with Owen could mean risking her relationship with Ryan.
Meanwhile, the flash forward will see Alex finally getting the answers that she has been looking for about who and what the terrorists are on. In the previous episode, it was revealed that Ryan is one of the terrorists. The shocking twist automatically puts Alex in grave danger.
In an interview with TV Guide, executive producer Josh Safran said that details about Ryan's whereabouts and his job as a terrorist will be explained very early on in the second half of "Quantico" Season 2.
"You will find out soon enough. We always knew we were going to do this. This has always been part of the plan since day 1. It was not a twist for twist's sake. It is based on something that will be revealed really soon," he said.
In other news, "Quantico" Season 2B has been moved from Sunday to Monday night. When the series returns with its new timeslot, new information about Harry (Russell Tovey) will also be unveiled.
Safran told TV Line that Harry's backstory is very interesting so fans of "Quantico" should tune in when it airs. "After we came up with the Alex-Ryan spine for the season, we came up with the Harry story, way back in June. A lot happens with that storyline between now and the near future," he said.
"Quantico" Season 2, episode 9 will air on ABC on Jan. 23 at 10 p.m. EST.
