The premiere episode of "Grimm" Season 6 featured Renard's rise to power and Nick's attempts to evade being captured by law enforcement officers. Branded as a fugitive following the bloodbath that happened in Nick's loft, Renard issued a manhunt and a shoot-to-kill order in case Nick resists an arrest.

However, Nick's friends will try to find a way to prevent Nick's capture. In the upcoming "Grimm" Season 6 episode 2, a murder case linked to Renard may provide Hank (Russell Hornsby) and Wu (Reggie Lee) an opportunity to stop the new mayor's plans.

Nick will also partner with Eve (Bitsie Tulloch) to help change his physical appearance by using a magical hat. A teaser clip posted on Spoilers Guide showed Nick using the said item's power to assume Renard's form.

It appears that Hank and Wu will try to ruin the former police captain's reputation by using Nick, as the doppelganger Renard, and further incriminating the new mayor in the said murder case. Titled "Trust Me Knot," the said episode will also feature Eve and Trubel's (Jacqueline Toboni) joint efforts to learn more about the mysterious cloth that came with the powerful healing stick.

Meanwhile, Diana will begin to display her true powers in the upcoming "Grimm" Season 6 episode. With Monroe and Rosalee tasked to look after the child, the couple will get a taste of Diana's abilities.

Moreover, Monroe and Rosalee's babysitting duties will help the couple experience how to take care of a child given Rosalee's pregnancy. However, the couple may soon welcome more than one baby. In an interview with TVLine, showrunner James Kouf teasingly used the term "babies" when referring to Rosalee's pregnancy.

"Grimm" Season 6 episode 2 will air on Jan. 13, Friday, on NBC. Watch a teaser clip below:
