"How to Get Away With Murder" Season 3 will see the return of veteran actress Cicely Tyson as Annalise Keating's (Viola Davis) mom, Ophelia.

While speaking with Entertainment Weekly, executive producer Pete Nowalk confirmed that Cicely and Annalise's father, played by actor Roger Robinson, will find out that their daughter has been sent to prison for murder. "I think they are going to have a really strong reaction. I cannot wait for people to see that," he said.

This is the third time that Tyson will guest star in "How to Get Away With Murder." She previously appeared in one episode from the first and second seasons. The first time she was featured in the hit ABC series was when Annalise refused to face the real world after the death of her husband, Sam (Tom Verica).

In Season 2, Ophelia reunited with her daughter when Annalise decided to return to her home and be with her family.

Nowalk admitted that they want to get Tyson on board at least one episode every season because it feels like the show is not complete without her.

Meanwhile, the over aching theme for "How to Get Away With Murder" Season 3B will center on the revelation of Wes' (Alfred Enoch) killer's identity. In the teaser released by ABC for "We're Bad People, there are hints suggesting that Annalise may be innocent.

However, it is also possible that she had something to do with Wes' demise. The cast members of "How to Get Away With Murder" Season 3 previously shared their speculations on who killed Wes.

Enoch himself thinks that the Mahoneys are the ones to blame. Liza Weil seconded Enoch's theory. But Charlie Weber, who plays Frank, thinks that someone else could have been involved. There are also some speculations leading to Frank being named as Wes' killer. After all, the two male characters were not in good terms especially after Frank found out that Wes has been sleeping with Laurel (Karla Souza).

"How to Get Away With Murder" Season 3, episode 10, titled "We're Bad People," will air on ABC on Jan. 26 at 10 p.m. EST.
