South Korean actresses Jun Ji Hyun and Kim Go Eun each sported different lipstick shades in their respective TV dramas. Given the popularity of "Legend of the Blue Sea" and "Goblin," the demand for the lipstick colors that they used increased, according to Korea Herald.

The said lipstick craze also extended beyond South Korea and even reached China, as indicated in the same report. Many Chinese fans used the search term "mermaid lips" on the online portal site Baidu to look for the lip products that Jun wore in "Legend of the Blue Sea."

Jun, who portrays the mermaid Shim Cheong, sported several lip shades in the SBS fantasy drama. Two stand-out colors include a hot pink shade and a red-colored tint from the brand Hera's Rouge Holic line specifically lipsticks #147 Supreme Pink and #333 Passion, respectively.

Meanwhile, Kim who plays the senior high-school student Eun Tak in "Goblin," wore natural colored lip tints in the tvN drama. Sporting the #264 PEUT-ETRE lipstick from Lancome's l'absolu rouge line, the said lip shade became more popular when "Goblin" was released.
