"Grey's Anatomy" Season 13 may finally introduce Jo Wilson's (Camilla Luddington) abusive husband in an upcoming episode.

In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Luddington said that even though there is still no information on when exactly will Jo's husband will be included in an episode, she believes that this will definitely happen because it is an important part of the characters' storyline.

Luddington added that she feels that the introduction of the male character is like a thunderstorm waiting to happen. "I imagine it will happen at some point," she said.

Meanwhile, since executive producer Shonda Rhimes is known for writing and directing episodes that are not predictable, Luddington is contemplating on the possibility of the character being introduced when Jo is already calm and doing so much better.

"I am almost wondering if it will happen more when she is at a point where it is a little more calm because she is in a lot of turmoil about Alex and about everything that has happened; it kind of destroys her. So I think when it gets calm, maybe he will show up," she said.

Luddington added that she knows for sure that that is something that "Grey's Anatomy" is known for: Bringing people from the past who are unexpected. "He has been the elephant in the room for a long time now, and I think it is time to meet him," she concluded.

In other news, Luddington recently announced that she is pregnant. However, the actress does not think that her pregnancy will be written into the hit ABC TV series.

After all, Jo is still feuding with her ex-boyfriend, Alex (Justin Chambers). The latter was also involved in an altercation with Andrew de Luca (Giacomo Gianniotti) when he thought that the latter was trying to have sex with Jo.

When "Grey's Anatomy" Season 13 returns with episode 10, Alex's fate will be revealed. In the promo, the character is seen standing behind bars, and by the looks of it, he could be sent to prison for quite some time.

"Grey's Anatomy" Season 13, episode 10 will air on ABC on Jan. 26 at 8 p.m. EST.
