‘Goblin' episode 14 spoilers, airdate: Two-part special episode focuses on character relationships, twists

"Goblin," also known as "Guardian: The Lonely and Great God," will release a special episode on tvN on Saturday, Jan. 14.

Originally, "Goblin" was supposed to end midway through the show in episode 13, but a lot of fans have been asking questions that the creators felt they needed to answer. With this, a special 14^th episode will be released.

According to the network, episode 14 will help viewers understand what is going on with the Korean drama. "'Goblin' will reach a turning point in the storyline in the 13^th episode. Being a combination of multiple genres such as tales of fantasy, romance, life and death, we have received a variety of speculative guesses and opinions. We want to ensure our viewers are able to easily enjoy the rest of the episodes, so we will be releasing a special episode on the 14^th, divided into two parts, encompassing the knotty relationships between the characters; they will foreshadow the rest of the episodes in an interesting way."

Meanwhile, IBTimes is clarifying that the special episode will only be aired on the timeslot for episode 14. But the actual 14^th episode will be released next Friday, Jan. 20.

In other news, episode 13 was filled with shocking twists and surprises. Kim Shin recently discovered that the Grim Reaper who has lived with him for quite some time is the same person who ordered a royal decree that in turn led to his clan's demise. The Grim Reaper's memory, that has been missing was returned to him by King Wang Yeo after he used his powers for hi personal needs.

Despite the emotional twists, episode 13 ended on a positive note. Grim Reaper decided to say goodbye to his evil ways. He was also instrumental in drawing out Joong Won's spirit from Eun Tak's body. Kim Shin held Eun Tak's hand and pulled out the sword. He also struck Joong Won, and the latter disappeared into thin air.

"Goblin" ended with the Goblin's bride completing her biggest mission which is to pull out the sword and get rid of Kim Shin.
