The new face of the just-launched 2018 Ford Mustang is hinting at a car with a sharper design and a more authentic look compared to its predecessors. Some of the features of the new edition include a revised grille, a new V8 engine, and a distinct bumper and spoiler.

Although the look is entirely new, the recognizable Mustang guise still manifests in the car. The new Orange Fury paint, new LED lights, and revised bonnet and grille are just there to satisfy critics of the 2015 Mustang and to upgrade the model altogether.

According to Auto Blog, the 2015 Mustang had undergone a styling "controversy" that ended up not totally pleasing its appraisers. The model's nose looked a little too blocky and tall in a comparative point of view.

In contrast, 2018 Ford Mustang now has a much different look that has retracted from the earlier design. Some of the new front-end transformation are aero tweaks that work together to drop the amount of drag and to maintain a better balance lift on both front and rear at high speeds.

The shape of the car itself has changed drastically, eliminating the aggressive glare of the 2015 Ford Mustang's headlights and putting on a new "eagle's head" outline. It is also accompanied by a new series of colors including dark maroon, '67 Vintage Burgundy color, and a royal Crimson.

Another beautifying tweak is a new stripe offset stripe package in either black or white. This well goes along with the new black rear decklid applique on all trims and models.

The birth of 2018 Ford Mustang documents the death of the traditional 3.7-liter V6 and a new transition to the Ecoboost and V8 engines. Ford told Piston Head in an interview that the Engine has received a thorough restructuring to give it a higher cycle than any other Mustang GT.

The new Mustang also boasts a fresh 10-speed automatic transmission system with an added 66 percent of ratios compared to the old six-speed system. Ford claims the new coordination will bring in quicker shift times, reduced friction losses, and better low-speed responses.

Extra enhancements take account of improved rides and handling, a new but optional LCD screen, which is customizable with three displays (sport, normal, and track), and a customizable engine note.

The 2018 Ford Mustang will become accessible this fall in the United States. Ford has not, however, announced as to when it will arrive in the United Kingdom. Here is a clip of more about the car:
