“Descendants of the Sun” stars Song Joong-ki and Song Hye Kyo lately have contrasting posts on their Instagram accounts. While Song Hye Kyo lately has been posting images showing sadness, Song Joong-ki has been all smiles in his photos.
His latest Instagram post on Wednesday, however, may make Song Hye Kyo sadder, if it is true that the two are in a secret relationship. Or at least Song Hye Kyo’s and his fans who are hoping they would become a real-life couple would be sadder.
Anonymous Woman
It’s because he just posted a picture of himself talking to a woman whose back is turned to the camera. The two appear to be in a serious conversation. Since Song Joong-ki did not caption the photo which got more than 120,000 likes and elicited more than 400 comments or identify the woman, it intrigued his fans.
As a result of the photo, some of his fans asked. “Who is she?” inquired yu.xiaohuan. “New drama? New movie,” bernadettecaayao also asked. A similar question was raised by Kiara.rabbit2 and tryak07.

However, Song Joong-ki did not reply to any of their questions. It could be a promo for a new drama or movie he would make, although it does not look like a scene from “Battleship Island,” his next movie or the speculated “Descendants of the Sun 2” which has not been confirmed by his talent agency or KBS.
The woman could also be Song Hye Kyo. Whoever she is, fans of the SongSong couple would remain restless until Song Joong-ki identifies her.
Meanwhile, MStars reported that KBS was planning a “Descendants of the Sun” project for 2017, but Jung Sung Ho, head of KBS drama department, clarified that it is not the second season of the original medical-military drama that broke viewer records in South Korea and China. He added the projects would not include all original cast of the blockbuster series.
