As rumors indicate that the Surface Pro 5 will make an appearance at the Barcelona MWC 2017 tech fair this coming February, signs continue to surface that release date of the refreshed 2-in-1 Windows 10 is happening real soon. The latest is the discounted price of the Surface Pro 4 in Canada that offers savings of up to $350.

Mobile Syrup reported that the SP4 is now part of the promo deals both being pushed by Microsoft and retail giant Best Buy, and targeting Canadian buyers. But it is the latter that has the best bang for the buck with the Core i7 Surface Pro 4 that packs 512GB of internal memory and 16GB RAM now selling with $350 price off. Shoppers are advised to head this link and check out the tempting deal.

The same Core i7 SP4 is available in the 256GB and 16GB RAM configuration, which Best Buy in the same country has discounted by $300 (in Canadian currency, of course).

Or buyers can browse on Microsoft's online store in Canada where the same SP4 unit with 256GB memory and 8GB RAM is now down to $1799 or $300 cheaper from the original price tag. On the same store, the Surface Pro 4 with Core i5 or Core m3 processors are also on the sale table with the discount ranging from $80 to $230 depending on the preferred configurations that buyers would snap up.

The more high-end the choice will be, the larger the savings to be realized appears to be the general matrix of the Microsoft Surface Pro 4 Canadian promo.

The deal comes following the sale of the same device in the United States that saw the Core i5 model of the SP4 marked down to $899 from $999. For students, parents and buyers that will get the hybrid mobile computing device, Microsoft is willing to give extra 10 percent of discount, as YIBADA has earlier reported.

Somehow, these developments are fanning the talks that Microsoft is rushing to clear out the remaining SP4 stocks as preparation for the arrival of fresh shipments - that would be for the Surface Pro 5. The latter is rumored to be scheduled for a grand preview at the MWC 2017, which kicks off February 26 in Barcelona, Spain.

The supposed Surface Pro 5 unveiling via the MWC 2017 is in line with the reports that Microsoft has set the device release date between March and April this year, or immediately following the Windows 10 Creators (Redstone 2) Update rollout in March. The tablet is tipped to unbox with an Ultra HD or 4K display resolution and a Surface Pen with magnetic charging capabilities.
