"Final Fantasy XV" has several strong monsters to defeat, which either drop important items, gives large experience, reward players with large sums of money, or just for the challenge. One of those monsters is the Adamantoise, which is tied up with a quest that needs to be accomplished for those who want a perfect record. Here is the method on how to defeat it for the Let Sleeping Mountains Lie quest.

The Adamantoise has the most health in the game with a large 5,000,000 HP, according to IGN. Players can fight him after they finish the main story or when they can use the Umbra at a lodging to return to Lucis. They will get the quest called Let Sleeping Mountain's Lie from Cindy in Hammerhead.

Players are recommended to get the highest level as possible to defeat this monster. Unlocking the Limit Break nodes so that each party member can dish out over 9999 damage will also help in making things easier.

After players return to Cape Caem after Chapter 9 in the video game, let Noctis talk to Iris outside the outpost. She will discuss about the earthquakes, and suggest that they should ask Cindy about them, which leads the party to the Hammerhead to get more information.

Cindy will then point the players to Dave for the next point of the quest, and then head inside the diner to talk to everyone else. After talking with everyone else, they can now head into the desert and speak to Monica.

After talking to Monica, the Adamantoise will wake up, and the game will start warning the players of the danger. There is no point in attacking it right now, which is why it is suggested to follow the game's instruction to escape by running as far as possible. Go to Hammerhead and restock on healing supplies before talking to Takka, and then accept the Adamantoise bounty.

Go back to the desert and get ready for a very long fight, Eurogamer explained. The only thing that players need to maintain in this fight is to be patient than anything else because it is the key to their victory. The Adamantoise has three basic attacks, which are sweeping his legs, smashing the ground, and rearing his head back.

When the screen flashes yellow, it means that the Adamantoise is charging. This means that players should get ready for an attack and get out of the way before it is too late.

The Adamantoise does not have any vulnerable areas, but there are a couple of Warp Points on either side of his head. Move on one of those sides. Lock on to its eye or the fleshy part of its neck, move in again for another Warp Strike with a broadsword, then keep locked on it, and Warp Strike from close range until Noctis' MP runs out. Just repeat this process over and over again.

Players will be able to deal 9999 damage with a lucky hit in a single blow or even more if unlocked. Armiger and Link Strike only waste time and do very little damage here, and summons will have no effect on this monster.

Just keep repeating the Warp Strike process until it goes down. Return to Takka for the rewards, which are 50,000 Gil and 50,000 experience. Journey to Galdin Quay and spend the night there to double the experience reward.
