New details and spoilers for "The Flash" season 3 will feature a new metahuman villain in episode 12 and Savitar's possible identity in the show.
The episode 12 synopsis for "The Flash" season 3 has been revealed online. Titled "Untouchable" Barry Allen/The Flash (Grant Gustin) and the rest of Team Flash encounter a new metahuman villain name Clive Yorkin (Matthew Kevin Anderson), who is methodically killing people by causing them to decompose at an accelerated rate.
Clive will be targeting CCPD detective Joe West (Jesse L. Martin) and things will get worse as Iris West (Candice Peyton) will be caught in between the conflict. The episode also features Barry mentoring Wally West/Kid Flash (Keiynan Lonsdale) even further as he puts him in a series of difficult trials, Screenrant reported.
With the death of Iris at the hands of Savitar looming over his head, Barry Allen will need all the help he can get when the second haft of season 3 returns this week. Clive Yorkin is a new meta in the world of "The Flash", and his power is sure to give both Barry and Wally some trouble. But with Kid Flash improving on his abilities perhaps there is hopes on stopping Clive and help Barry change Savitar’s prophecy.
Meanwhile, several rumors are making rounds regarding the possible identity Savitar in "The Flash" season 3 as the TV version of the speedster god could be one of the character's in the main cast.
According to IDigital Times, Savitar in "The Flash" season 3 could be an alternate version of Barry Allen or in theory "Future Flash". In the comics Savitar's civilian identity was never named and viewers only knew him as a pilot during the Cold War era, who has been granted speed when his jet was struck by lightning.
In the TV series Savitar was the first and most powerful speedster after he had gained the Philosopher stone transforming him into a monstrous creature with armor. Stone has also served as a prison for him as he cannot enter the world without someone as a vessel, which Dr. Alchemy/Julian Albert's (Tom Felton) comes in as his proxy.
Savitar blames Barry fro trapping him and wants revenge not just him, but his friends and family as well. Another clue of Savitar as Future Barry is that they both have blue armor and lightning. In addition, the message from Barry from year 2056 will also have to do with Savitar, as he is going to have some questionable decisions. It is hinted that 2056 is the year The Flash traps Savitar in the speed force and the "war" he describes is against Savitar not the Dominators.
The Flash returns on Tuesday at 8pm on The CW.
