With beloved "Teen Wolf" characters set to face the Ghost Riders in a final showdown, a valued friend will make a comeback in Beacon Hills. Latest spoiler news teased of Scott (Tyler Posey) and Stiles (Dylan O'Brien) reunion in the MTV series' upcoming episode.
"Teen Wolf" Season 6 episode 9 featured a nostalgic trip down memory lane as Scott, Lydia (Holland Roden) and Malia (Shelley Hennig) tried their best to remember their captured friend Stiles. In an effort to open a supernatural rift into the Ghost Riders' lair, the trio subjected themselves to a hypnotic session to regain their lost memories.
Titled "Memory Found," Lydia's connection with Stiles became the catalyst that opened a portal into the villainous group's Wild Hunt prison. However, the said episode ended in a cliffhanger with a scene that showed a figure of a man coming out of a brightly lit tunnel.
In the upcoming "Teen Wolf" Season 6 episode 10, the identity of the said man will be revealed. At this time, it is still unclear if the mystery figure seen inside the tunnel is Stiles but a teaser clip posted on Spoiler TV showed the long-missing character suddenly appearing to help Scott and his friends.
A scene in the said video showed Stiles hitting a man on the head with a baseball bat while Scott, Liam (Dylan Sprayberry) and Parrish (Ryan Kelley) looked on in amazement. He tells the trio, "Bad guy, right? I didn't misread that?"
Moreover, the upcoming episode will also feature the final showdown between Mr. Douglas (Pete Ploszek), the Ghost Riders and Scott's pack. Titled "Riders on the Storm," viewers can expect to see several fight scenes as Scott and his friends try to stop the Nazi werewolf and his band of Ghost Riders from taking over Beacon Hills.
In other news, "Teen Wolf" showrunner Jeff Davis recently revealed the origin of Stiles' first name and his inspiration behind the unique moniker. In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Davis revealed that he wanted a Polish name Stiles and "Mieczyslaw" was a perfect fit to describe the said character.
Davis stated, "Mieczyslaw sounded like 'mischief.' It seemed like a perfect word to describe Stiles. Both as a mischievous child and equally misbehaved adult."
"Teen Wolf" Season 6 episode 10 will be released on Jan. 31, Tuesday, on MTV. Watch the teaser clip below:
